Hmmm, interesting. General advice had been to be in the Western Corridor during June, but it would seem that the last week of June is a bit up in the air as to where to be.
I'm planning to be in the Serengeti June 29 - July 3, and have a 2+2 split between Kirawira/EMC Camp. I had asked Roys about doing a 2+2 split between Kirawira and Migration Camp, but they didn't think that the migration would be that far for my dates. My original plan had been to do a split between Kirawira and Serengeti Serena/Mbuzi Mawe, which in retrospect may have been better location-wise, but I couldn't pass up the chance for the EMC camp. In any event, Roys is running around right now trying to do my booking, so it'll be interesting to see what they come back with.
I imagine that predicting the migration is a rather inexact science. Heh - if only the wildebeest would stick a proper schedule, this sort of planning would be much easier.
