Maun To Cape Town Flight cancelled
 

Talk of the town here in Maun,
Flights directly to Cape Town and back cancelled.Air Botswana changing it from the 25 March this year.

That flight was pretty useless in the Cape Town-Maun direction, as one needed to overnight in Maun.

Anyway, still only good old Air Botswana doing the Joburg-Maun-joburg route? or other airlines allowed for this season?

So far only air Botswana.
They cancelled the maun - kasane flights to.

For some reason, I thought another airline was going to doing the Maun/JNB route in 2007. Must have been dreaming. I have a trip to Bots planned for this July. On the last day I fly from Maun to Joburg. According to the schedules, I have time to make the connection for my flight back to the states. BUT, knowing the (un)reliability of Air Botswana, I'm overnighting in Joburg so I don't take a chance on missing my flight home.

I face the same issue (but in the other direction). My flight from india arrives at 7 40 AM. Have to overnight at JNB(fearing that will be the one day they depart on schedule at 10am) ;)

On christmas eve in 2005 we were only 8 flying from Maun to Cpt.
