Masi Mara/Serengeti

If you were traveling in September...which would spend more time at Masi Mara or Sergengeti? would you go to Lake Manyara National Park this time of the year? is it very dry and dusty in these regionals at this time of the year?

In September, the Migration is in the Mara - the place to be!

As to Lake Manyara, it depends on what the entire itinerary looks like. My preference would be Tarangire. But again, what does the entire itinerary look like, when in September will you be visiting? With that, we could probably comment in total.

As to it being dry and, therefore, dusty - welcome to Afica. The only times when it is not, is during the "long" rains (Apr-May), or the "short" (Nov-early Dec) rains as the wet settles the dust. But that doesn't mean that the dry and dust is something most people give much thought to unless you're sensitive or allergic to that environment. On our various trips we never found the dry or dust to hinder our experiences in any way.
