Only stayed at Main Camp, and did not do any optional extras.

I did both of the optional drives with the elephant researcher and the leopard researcher and would thoroughly recommend both. If I remember correctly, some (or maybe all?) of the extra payment for those activities went straight to them for use in their research so that makes it doubly worthwhile. Both were very engaging people with a real love of their subject and a desire to share it.
