Mara-how many days during Migration?
 

I'm about to book my safari and was planning on having 4 nights, 3 full days and a morning, in the Mara as part of our 5.5 day/6 night trip to Kenya during the migration. But we're wondering if that's too much time in the Mara. Thanks.

4 nights are not enough.

hi,check this-last oct from the east coast US.i went there just for the mara. 5nts with a couple in nairobi.then back home.yes it was worth it-got what i wanted-croc taking out a wildebeast.
i suggest do the whole time in the mara-not including your flying in and flying out.

Depends on how much time you have. But during the migration, even if you were to spend a week in the Mara it will be great........it's not just the migration but the predetor activity will be at it's very very best!!!

Your ratio of 4 nights in the Mara to 6 total nights is good. If you had more time, I'd spend more days. I think you are using your allotted time wisely.

No, it is not too much if you are interested in wildlife viewing.
