Hi there, I am travelling to Madagascar in January also ,from the 20th to the 10th of Feb. I have not worked out my internal itinery as yet. What I suggest is buying a lonely planet guide and go from there. There is so much to see that you could spend months there and not see it all.
One of the main concerns that I have is going to be the weather. January is going to be wet and I am not sure how that will restrict travel and internal tours. But I dont care because I will be in Madagascar. Another tip is to learn some french as I have read that there is limited english spoken.
Can anyone confirm my queries on weather and language problems.
Hope that I have been of some help DAVE.
