Luggage 'carts' ?????

I know this isn't really an 'Africa' topic BUT ... if anyone knows then someone on here will ....

I promised myself that I would buy one of those portable little luggage 'carts' - you know the ones with two wheels that fold up and you can just attach a bag / backpack to an wheel around, before my next trip.

Well, I've been looking and looking and I can't find them anywhere. I think my main problem is I don't know what they are called - can anyone help???

Thanks all,
Imelda

I did a google search for Luggage Cart and received a number of hits for this item to include Amazon.com

Good Luck,

Bob

They can be found in shops that sell luggage. However, nowadays with so many bags already having built-in wheels, there aren't many choices, but they're out there. Sales people who have to get around with samples; for delivery persons, etc. use them still.

They're either called Luggage Wheels, Wheelies. Depending on the quality, size of wheels, weight they have to hold, prices will vary.

Imelda, have you tried Magellan's? I havn't searched, but we bought one from a local store about two years ago, we have been using it for Jim's rather heavy Naneu Pro camera bag lately and it works fine - it was about 40.00 and folds up very compact.

I purchased mine at Macy's in luggage department, 2 years ago. They are okay, not as stable as built in wheels and you have to attach your bag with cords. But better than nothing

Thanks all!!!

Lynda, it's for my rather heavy LowePro Camera bag that I'm looking to get the 'wheels' :)

I have been looking on Amazon etc but shipping is costing almost as much if not more than the actual cart so I might just hold off until we get to Chicago in January.

Thanks again for all the replies - I knew I could count on Africa Fodorites :D

PS jk34jk, might just end up picking one up in Macy's in Chicago now that I know they will most likely have them.

Thanks!!
