LONG STAY DISCOUNTS

I have read on the forum about long stay discounts for lodges in Zambia, Botswana and South Africa.
Does Serena, Sanctuary or any other, offer long stay discounts for accomodations in Tanzania?

Thanks,
cj

Some properties do offer long-stay discounts. These offering are usually during their low/off-seasons. In fact CCA has recently offered 7/days for the price of 5/days. And Serian Camp in the Mara was, likewise, offering 7 for 5, for period Nov to mid-Dec (which is the short-rains season).

Hari - it sounds like a good deal if you want to be in one place for that length of time especially in low season. While during the migration you probably have lots of game in the immediate area; off season game drives are going to take you great distances. Some may choose to use those extra days to visit elsewhere. Like anything else, still depends on what the individual traveler is seeking.

Kiboko - In Tanzania in February (high-season), you may get a deal if booking all Serenna properties (there is no Serena in Tarangire) or all Sopa props (in Tar, NCA and Serengeti). Likewise, if you decided to stay at Nomad's or Asilia props for 5 - 7 days, maybe a discount. In all instances, you'd have to inquire.
