My hats off to you! I've looked at the fly camping, but I don't think I'm that adventurous. I shall be anxious to hear all about it. I know it will be exciting. Please post a detailed report when you return. I hope you see lots and lots of animals. How did you just select that one camp in Selous and no more? I think I'd find it very hard to get that far and not see it all. I am so thrilled for you. ila

We didn't do the fly-camping ourselves, but some other guests at Sand Rivers did and they loved it!!! They woke up to find that elephants had dug in the Sand River for water about 20 feet from their tents, and they said the meal cooked outside was unbelievable. You will have a blast! Enjoy every minute of it! And please make sure you post about Fundu Lagoon as I am curious about it for a future stay.
