I had a look at the ABC 2008 rate sheet. amolkarnik is correct, rate for LBC in high season (Jun-Oct) is US$ 725 pppns, single supplement is US$ 150.

But I had to take a second look when reading the Somalisa rates - high season rate for Somalisa is unbelievable US$ 385 pppns!

amolkarnik -- At the time we are going, there is also a 5:55pm flight out of UTN into JNB. I think we are going to try to do that, then overnight at JNB before flying on to Maun the next day. That evening flight may not be every day though, I'm not sure.

nyama - Is this price for Somalisa due to the current Zim situation?

lisa - There is the evening flight, but it allows me only 2.5 hours connection time at Joburg for my BA flight to London. Cant afford to miss that flight.

amolkarnik -- I'm not sure, it could be a reason. Otherwise, at nearby Makalolo you pay more than US$ 500, and I really wonder why.

Amol/Nyama : My guess and guess only is the current situation in Zim that reflects on the pricing -
