Lebanon Spring 2018
 

Hello,

My husband and I are in the beginning stages of planning a trip to the Middle East. I've long desired to visit Lebanon. I can't help but notice the lack of posts on the Lebanon board...has anyone visited there recently?

We were in Lebanon briefly in 2011, so I'm afraid it's not very recent but we enjoyed our time in Beirut and it's somewhere I'd like to return to. It seems to me Lebanon is far more popular with Europeans rather than American tourists. You may find more info over on the Tridpavisor forums.

And I was there even earlier - in 2009. I had a good time, and Beirut was a welcome change from all the women in full black in Syria. I based in Beirut and did day trips with a local company. I would be happy to go back.
