Lebanon in July???

Some people have recommended Lebanon as a perfect destination for 10 day vacation, but I still haven't managed to do a proper research on my own. I would appreciate any suggestions. I would like to spend most of the time on the coast, (are there any nice resorts there?). I am travelling on a (medium) budget. Thanks!!!

Hi Vesnica

went to Lebanon in Sep and its a fantastic destination - fell in love instantly.

You can quite happily spend a few days in Beirut which is buzzing, fantactic restaurants/clubs - beautiful people!

Byblos on the coast would be a good idea for relaxing on the beach - its the longest continously inhabited settlement in the world dating to pre 6000BC (i think!)

Going up into the hills would also be a good idea - the Quadisha Valley is beautiful - Jul will be hot so it will be cooler in the hills as well
