Very nice pictures Hari! Thanks for sharing. Cheetahs are my favorite animal, so I'm always happy to see more of them :)

Very nice images Hari. Would you mind giving us the particulars, i.e., what camera and lens did you use?
Thanks, Chuck

Excellent photos, Hari -- thanks! (And wonderful to see a familiar face.)

Very nice, Hari! My best: #26, 27 and 30 because of the light, the pose and the composition... hardly a whisker between them.

Beau-ti-ful. I think that's our girl! But can't be sure.

Leely Sep 15th, 2006 09:28 AM

YOWZA. That is one gorgeous creature. I particularly like the shots with the rock featured more prominently. And absolutely beautiful light.

Looking forward to more.

Hi! Anyone seen the documentary- cheetah:Cats in crisis? It was part filmed in Namibia, parts in Kwandwe and Phinda (CCA) and a good part at Kwando safaris. Just watched it on the discovery channel and in the credits at the end there was a thank you to Staff and Management of Kwando Safaris.

Wonderful pictures. The area is truely one of the best. The price creep is making the area out of reach.

santharamhari Oct 5th, 2006 05:54 PM

Thanks Yaser. Glad you liked the pics

Richard,

Yeah....have you read my trip report from August? It's called "Back home from Kwando (Hari)"

It's great cheetah country......amongst other predators.

Some nice pics there Hari, lovely bokeh on those closeup ones. Also showing good taste with a Nikon, as well. I have the D2Hs. What sort of Tamron?

Cheers
Marc
