Layover Dubai
 

Looking for suggestions for a quick layover in Dubai. My boyfriend and I are arriving in the evening on Thursday June 26 and leaving early morning Saturday June 28 (one day, two nights).

What are your interests? If you like history and culture, check out Old Dubai with the rather interesting Dubai Museum and then wander over to some of the souqs nearby. Other highlights for a first-time visitor are the Burj Al Arab, the Burj Khalifa, and perhaps the Palm Islands.

I'd recommend you to go to Burj Khalifa, You will see Dubai itself from the top of that "gretest tower"!!! Also you will have a great taste expirience if you visit Reem Al Bawadi restaurant and try their national kitchen,they can also offer you perfect arabian Shisha(hookah). During the day in Dubai you can also go on walking in Dubai Marina - it looks like arabian Manhattan. But I must advise you to move by taxi, because it is not easy to find places and move on foot (it seems thet think people move only by cars):))))

consider doing a desert safari as well. it would be a great experience.
