We're leaving for Tanzania in a week! Any last minute advice?

about a week ago, a friend reported lots of elephants in Tarangire, which means the rains haven't really started ...

Take less clothes than you've already laid out and pack them in plastic bags to keep the dust out. Take more digital memory and lithium batteries if your equipment uses them.
Keep a small notebook and pen close at hand.
Don't worry about the drinking water-you'll probably be provided with plenty.
Relax and have a grand safari.

I recall your planning, then last minute replanning. How nice it's almost here. If I recall all the details, I can also wish you a Happy Honeymoon.

I advise you to roll with the punches, look at any bumps as part of the adventure, and enjoy what will be an incredible experience.
