sorry for the late reply!

I've just noticed it (it seems like we have the same planned itinerary for our kenyan holiday )

Well, I booked for us 4 nights at Kizingo in august; the owners were very nice and helpful. I also found some reviews on trip advisor about this place. People who spent their time there say it's wonderful, but kind of basic, far from a luxury banda. You should read their stories and some other info on Kizingo here: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev...ingo-Lamu.html

Hope it's not too late!

We will also stay at Kizingo in August, the 15th to the 18th. When will you be there? Hope we can meet.

Kevin,

we'll arive on the 19th! (Mary Jo told me they don't have anything free on the 18th, when it would have been better for us). So this time we won't meet unfortunately!
Is it your first time at Kizingo?

yes our first time.

I have heard nothing but good things. Mary Jo is certainly very nice and helpful.

I posted on your other thread re booking. Sounds like you and I are exactly alike. With the miracle of the internet I usually book all my our trips now. A bit frustrating to use an operator. However, Benjamin was pretty nice and helpful at South Cross.

Sorry we will miss you at Kizingo.

Kevin,

it's so funny we have similar itineraries as well as similar "problems"... It would have been nice to meet you at Kizingo!

Any way, I wish you to enjoy the rest of your planning!
