Hi, I have never stayed at any of these hotels, but have stayed at the seronera lodge and lobo lodge, owners who own the manyara and ngorogoro properties,

They are cheap in comparision to the higher end properties/lodge, the food according to my standards was good, the rooms are clean(not ultra luxurious) and have some minor problems but thier location in the serengeti is just fabulous, the staff is friendly and always willing to help out with problems of the run down old property,

Frankly, I enjoyed my stay as wildlife was at the doorstep, you could hear lions at night, some tourists saw a male lion kill wildebeest from the bar/balcony of the seronera lodge at 6 pm( I missed that)

Thanks Sonali. Yes, I've read many good reviews of the Serena and Sopa lodges. Unfortunately I think they are booked while we are there so now we're looking at the Manyara Hotel and Wildlife lodge as they may be our only option (if we want to be inside the park in good locations).

So now I'm seeking feedback from those who have stayed at those lodges in particular.

Thanks for your input. :)

Both were just fine. The Wildlife Lodge has a really beautiful view. I'd go back to either happily.
