lorraine,

Yes, a 12 night booking would certainly earn a nice discount, especially if done entirely with the same company.

I am going to contact Kwando and check the rates for a 12 day trip. I do not have any problem using them for the entire trip if they are as good as you say. Can you tell me the difference between Kwando and Wilderness Safaris. Also I found the following information
on a trip the the below website. What do you think of this.

hi spiegelcjs!

took a look at suggested www - price looks really good. sorry i can´t personally comment on the camps listed. there has been a huge amount written comparing kwando + wilderness (different company to the one you´re looking at) here on the forum. have a look around and you´ll find plenty of reading. the bottom line is they´re both very good. i´ve just posted full trip report on new thread btw...or at least i thought i had and can´t find it now..............i do get in a twist when i start cutting and pasting!!

spiegelcjs - wow! that´s almost twice what we just paid in shoulder season, but must admit we did a bit of gentle haggling thru an agent. i´m worried it may be our last trip with them if prices continue to rise. we´re just not in the income bracket to go with those rates. good luck in your search....maybe try lower season? if you pick your spots can all still be very good. see my report on november.
