King's Camp?
My TA is offering King's Camp as an alternative to our original Kampama honeymoon destination in September. Has anyone had any experience with King's Camp and is it preferrable to Kapama?
Thank you,
Mauryn

I stayed at kings some time ago, it is in the Timbavati an in my opinion a much better choice for a honeymoon. It has a romantic charm that certainly suites a honeymoon vacation. I believe that your agent is on the money.
I liked the more exclusive feel of the camp and found the game viewing to be just fine.

Thanks Mkhonzo.
Actually, I was the one who insisted on an alternative to Kapama. All the places I suggested were full except King's. But we are already way over budget, so we'll have to go with Kapama, which is a cheaper option. Apparently it's an additional €400 for the lodging and €450 for the flight transfer.

Oh what the heck.
I've contacted my travel agent and confirmed King's Camp at the extra cost. I've been dissuaded from going to Kapama and looking at previous threads, King's Camp should be great.
Apparently, Rocco planned a trip around going to King's Camp...and if it's good enough for him...it's good enough for me.

Ha.
I spoke too soon.
My very accomodating and flexible TA has just informed me that she already cancelled King's Camp and there's no going back. It's full too, apparently.
I'm so angry!!!!

OK. I've taken matters into my own hands. They don't call me Bridezilla for nuthin'.
I've contacted King's Camp directly and they say we still have a booking!!
So King's Camp it is (hopefully)!! YAY!!
You couldn't see it, but I had smoke coming out of my ears!
HildeV, I'll check your pics now. Thanks.
