Kenya visas

Has anyone had experience of obtaining a visa on arrival at Nairobi Airport? I cannot afford to give my passport up for several weeks, as I have a potential emergency situation in the U.K., which may necessitate travel there. Had thought of obtaining the visa forms, completing them and trying for the visa on arrival. Any input would be helpful.

We were just in Kenya in June. Didn't come with a visa. It was very easy to get a visa at the airport. Took 2 minutes. Just give them $50 and the completed forms and they will be very happy.

They should just call it an arrival tax. We had the forms all made out and forget to sign them but the guy just stamped them and collected the $100 for the 2 of us and we just went right through. You will have no trouble getting your visa at the airport. Buck
