Kenya Visa on Arrival - No Longer Permitted
 

As July 1st with 2/mo lag time (1st /sept) visitors can NO LONGER purchase Kenya Visa on arrival.. Whether this change will hold is anyone's guess, but do check with your tour operator for details and current info.
Visas will have to be done online and yet there are still issues, major issues
- digitized photo (from Smartphone)
- copy face page of passport
- payment by credit card (not secured as of yet)

Thanks Sandi . Best case scenario, it will speed up those long lines at the airport.Worst case...it will make no difference at all, or add another layer of bureaucracy

Some travelers have had quick success within 2-4/days. However there are still others who don't own a smartphone, a scanner and even a computer/laptop. For any organization to assume everyone has access to these or have access to be online... big mistake.
