Kenya-Rains in November or March?

We are trying to decide between travel in late November or mid-March. I know both are considered low season. However, would there be a benefit of one time or another?
(I read somewhere that November is short, small rain storms and the while we may see some bad weather in March-April is the real rain season) Is this on target? Has anyone traveled during this time?

You're posting all over the place. Suggestion is to keep all questions about a planned trip under one thread. It's easier for you to find and for people to answer and keep up with your progress along the way.

I've traveled in November and had little rain, but that's no guarantee that in any given year there might not be more. April/May are the supposed to be the long rainy season. Here too, some people have traveled during this time and had no rain. It's weather... don't know whether it will or won't!
