JUST WANT TO TALK MOROCCO
 

Ok 3 weeks from today I leave.

Im going to Morocco for 3 weeks w/ Baraka Journeys....and I'm VERY excited.

We will hit all the major cities etc....and if anyone just wants to talk Morocco with me I would love to!!! You will help me pass the next 21 days!!!! :):):)

I also welcome any tips and ideas that might be helpful!!

We were in Morocco for 8 days in March 2007 and had a fabulous trip. I hope you will get a chance to spend a night in the Sahara desert - that was the highlight of our trip. Here is a link to my trip report (incl. pictures) if you are interested:

I just returned from Morocco this weekend. If you have any specific questions about Marrakech or Essaouria, I would be happy to try to answer them.

Had a wonderful visit to Morocco in March and am very much looking forward to returning some day soon. You will have such a good time! The sights and sounds, scents and tastes, colors, and the quality of the light all add up to sensory overload, almost. Ok ...this is great...I shall spend the next day or so reading up on all of this and looking at your pics.

Ive been reading for months...just now "Morocco: by Barrie Kerper....and also doing my outline of the itinerary jotting down extra notes about all the places we will see.

Since we'll be there in Oct mostly....will we really have much trouble w/ mosquitos??? Ah ha..the first of many questions Im sure!!!

Wow. First of all; Jgg...wow what a wonderful family you have!! I sooo enjoyed your journal AND your pics. You went lots of the places we are going so it was really interesting to see what they will look like.

By all means do travel w/ your kids...we did w/ our 2 boys. Now they love to travel and totally understand their mad mother.....even more than my hubby I think!!!

Kavey also a terrific journal. Honestly you have my mouth watering for some of that Moroccan food...it all sounded good to me. We will also be staying in Riad in Marrakesh and I sure hope we all get the rooms we booked!!!

Julia and Patti...all of your photos are worth Conde Nast! Is the blue really THAT blue!!!!! Truly stunning pics......the sahara...wow....all of the photos were just amazing....Jgg too!!! And I really liked the one of you all sitting on the dune w/ your backs to camera looking at the sun. Really a nice shot.

Ok....now I have ....17 more days to go...but hey..whos counting!!! Ha!
