Atravelynn - Yes, all the photos were taken with the Panasonic FZ15. I am very happy with the camera. So easy to use, not too big, good quailty...and the price was right. I paid $350 for tha camera!

I took 2 gb of memory and that worked out well. I also bought an extra battery. I never had issues with battery life as I was able to charge batteries every day if needed.

All pictures were taken in program (auto) mode with a few exceptions. I played with a few macro close ups and aperature mode on a few sunsets shots.

I would suggest this camera (or the newer Panasonic FZ20) for anyone who would like an easy to use, portable, inexpensive, 12x optical zoom camera for safari.

The only regret is that I forgot to take a bean bag to steady the camera for lower light/high zoom shots.

Thanks for the camera comments. It was helpful to know that you used the automode most of the time too.

I read earlier iin your report that the battery charging was not a problem.

The review link was helpful too.
