I'm leaving for Kenya & Tanzania on the
17th of this month. I am also going on a
cruise on the nile and spending 10 days
in Eygpt. Would really like some advise.

Please tell me about your trip! I did a backpacking safari in Zimbabwe in October, and am determined to do another one, this time in Kenya and Tanzania.
I would particularly like to know if you did a plane ride over the Masai Mara, and what places you found really worth visitiing. I am hoping to find places without hoardes of minibuses surrounding the animals. Many thanks, Gaby
Planning to go to Kenya next year and would like to hear more about your trip. How can I get your e-mail?

Did you do any climbing while in Tanzania? I'm going in October and cannot decide between Mt. Kili (I've heard horror stories) or Mt. Meru. Also I've been told it is better to book safari once in Serengeti rather than from the States. What do you think? I'd love to hear about your experiences.
Thank you!
Will be in Kenya on Nov. 30 for 2 weeks. Trying to plan a 5-6 day safari, with extension to perhaps Mombasa. Any advice as to planning this? or things to avoid?

Audrey, We did not go to Mombsa, so I can't help there. Our planning was done through a tour company in the U.S. I do have a lengthy debriefing of our trip - mostly general information regarding camps, meals, clothing, travel, photo equipment, essentials, etc. I will be happy to forward this 7 page document to you. Please let me know if you would like a copy via direct email.

To All:
I don't monitor this post very often any longer. If you would like information regarding our trip to Kenya and Tanzania, please email me directly at [email protected].
Thanks, Tonna
