When we go to Tz in June, 2007 we are staying at some pretty nice spots. NCL & Kirawira to name a few. I had mentioned tented cammps and got some negatives about Kirawira.

But, I have to stay one thing that my wife tells me all the time when we are planning a vacation.

She says that camping is.......a bad room in the Four Seasons....:-)

Just had to relay that little tidbit.

Well, I have to agree with your wife! Hilarious! I've decided to do Migration or Mbalageti Camp, Serengeti Sopa, Ngorongoro Sopa and Tarangire Treetops. We needed a mix of properties to keep on budget. What do you guys think?

Sounds good.
For June I'd try Mbalageti over Migration Camp.

Mbalageti Camp = excellent choice for June and I’d opt for that over Migration Camp due to its location.

Serengeti Sopa = I think it is a little too far south for June. Instead, I'd do Serena or Seronera Lodge because the central Serengeti is always good. Maybe Sopa is considered central but it is the southernmost of Serena, Seronera, Sopa. I think Seronera is less expensive and I thought it was very nice when I stayed there.

Ngorongoro Sopa = Great choice and I liked it, especially the private road. See if you can get a breakfast box and head into the crater very early before the crowds.

Tarangire Treetops = No personal experience but have read nice things.

If these properties are available, I’d reserve. This will be a great anniversary trip.

Lynn,
I've been talking to Andre so I'll make the changes to the camps. Thanks so much for your help and insight! Really, everyone has been instrumental in helping me orchestrate this safari. People's experiences and opinions are invaluable to me. Thanks so much.

You are right about people's experiences and opinions being so valuable. That's why this forum is such a great place.
