JUNE/JULY 2007 WEDDING - East or South Africa?

We are planning on taking our families on a safari for our wedding in 2007. It will be end of June, early July. Is E. Africa better or S. Africa? I'd like to incorporate activities as well. Also how is the weather/temps during this time?

There is a new south Africa trip report index to read about trips there.

And here's the East Africa index.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! How exciting to have a safari wedding.

Tell us what kind of activities you'd like to do and we offer better suggestions on East vs. Southern Africa.

East Africa--highs in the mid 70's and lows in the 50s in late June or early July.

In general, I've found it to be a lttle warmer in Southern Africa at this time, but of course it depends where you are.

There was just a reference to the weather site wunderground.com to check out the weather.

But the nights were colder in Southern Africa, so more extremes.
