I am aware that the Visa is available on arrival and costs 20 JOD cash.. Do they require any photographs,, If so what size? Just Passport size?
Many thanks Ulinda . Australia.

Most countries do NOT require photos if purchasing Visa on arrival as they have you and your passport in front of them... of course your pretty face (where most of us look like criminals, all that's missing is the number across our chests)

However, never a bad idea to have extra passport-size pics for travel anywhere in case you loose passport and need replacement thru Embassy.

Most countries (though can't attest to Jordan) are now taking visitor's pic and fingerprints on arrival when purchasing Visas on site.

No harm contacting the Jordanian Embassy in your country for verification. If no Embassy, maybe they have a Tourist office.

Have the JD 20 ready. If you arrive in Amman there is a currency exchange booth on your way to line up for customs (get a receipt and check that all the JD's on that receipt are handed over to you.)
At Aqaba airport you pay when you leave the country.

At the customs a picture will be taken of you when you hand over your passport. Easypeasy.

No photos needed for AMM arrival though I always keep some handy in case the rules change enroute. If you can get your 20JOD before you leave your country, you will save time.
