Jo'burg airport; rent a locker/safe?
Hey all,
Upon arrival, we got a few hours to spend at OR Tambo intl airport. Much less so when we fly back home.
So we figured; perhaps we should do some shopping straight away. But carry it around in our bags during our whole trip? No way.
Is there a way to store some stuff at the airport? Pehaps rent a safe or something like that?

There is a luggage-storage depot on the upper level of the underground parkade, near the main lift lobby in International Arrivals. You may leave any baggage at a cost of R50.00 per item for the first day and R40.00 per item every day thereafter. Mastercard and Visa accepted. Open 24 hours 7 days a week."
I think the price is now R55, and double check the hours. Not sure why the info isn't the same as other sites.
This kind of struck me as funny, in case you'd like a botox treatment: Sorry - off topic! But are the malaria pills effective and cheap?

Does anyone know whether the baggage storage is secure? I'd really like to leave some luggage when I fly out for a short trip to Victoria Falls, but I don't want anyone breaking into my bags while I'm gone.
