JETT bus (Amman & Petra) - ticket help!
We are heading to Jordan on Monday night (will arrive Tues) and will be staying at the Amman Marriott. The plan is to see Jerash/Dead Sea the first day (Wed) and then take our rip to Petra on Thursday. We will be doing Petra in a day, and plan to take the JETT bus there/back.
I can't seem to find info about how far in advance we need to buy the JETT bus tickets. The JETT website didn't have booking info (other than an int'l phone #). Do the tickets sell out in advance? Ideally, we'd like to either stop by the office and get them on Wednesday or at least make a reservation over the phone to pick up/pay on Thurs morning. I don't expect Thursdays in November (& Thanksgiving day!) to be the busiest tourist day in Petra, but I'd hate to get there and not have seats. Any thoughts?
Thanks!

I can't imagine why you think Thanksgiving day would affect the number of tourists at Petra. I was there at the beginning of November, and there were large numbers of tourists, but most are on group tours, so wouldn't need the JETT bus. If you can't get a seat on the bus you may be able to get one in a service taxi instead, but I'd try for tickets the day before.
You are really short-changing Petra to just do a day trip - I had two full days there (three nights) and really valued the extra time, plus the Petra by night experience (walking in, not the musical performance).
