jack's camp

I'm, going to be in Botswana with my wife and 10 year old. Is Jack's Camp worth the visit?

In one word: YES!

It's weird because what you read doesn't sound that amazing (although the quad biking on the salt pans does) - a lot of flamingoes and zebras at the right time of year, meerkats, brown hyenas... BUT it's a magical experience. It really really is. Just magical.

And incase you read old info the tents in Jack's now have fully flushing toilets (not drop loos) and running hot water (not bucket showers).

It's an amazing place. Also the guides there are astounding.

There aren't many places I feel that people SHOULD NOT MISS but Jack's is one of them.

I totally agree with Kavey, Jack's Camp was one of our top two in Botswana. It's different from the Okavango Camps in both atmosphere and flora/fauna. There is a superb game experience there, though, and other activities that you must NOT miss. Try your best to stay for 3 nights to take advantage of it all. It's fantastic.
