Itinerary Input for Northern Israel with Kids
 

We will be spending approximately 4 days up North at the end of August (yes, I know it will be super crowded and hot!) and just wanted thoughts/suggestions on the potential itinerary. We are 3 families with 9 kids ages 5- 13. We are interested in fun activities that the kids will like with a little history mixed in. We imagine at minimum doing one thing with water and one sight/activity each day.

I pieced the below together from various friends but feedback is appreciated - i.e. anything you think is a must-do that we don't have on there, if any day is too much logistically and time-wise, etc. We will be based by the kinneret.

Sunday- we will drive from Jerusalem- Stop at Kangaroo Park and Park Hamayanot

Monday- Ein Tina, Mount Ben Tal, de karina Chocolate Factory, Light show

Tuesday- Banias or Tel Dan (preference?), Cable Car, Rafting

Wednesday - maybe Aqua Kef, have to end up in Tel aviv at night - should we go to Tsfat? Rosh Hanikra? and then head down? are either of those better a different day logistically?
Is zichron yaakov worth going to on our way to tel aviv? (keeping in mind the kids ages 5-13?)

Do we need to make reservations at any of these places?

Do you know about Vered HaGalil, a guest ranch on the north shore of Kinneret, near Capernaum? It was a wonderful rustic place 30 years ago when I stayed there and looking at the website, looks even better now.
