Israel Weather????

I'm touring the Holyland from
11/5 to 11/5. What are my clothing musts??? Please advise
as to shoes, touring clothes,
type of coat? I'm a female, in
my early 50's and friends who've
been to Israel have never toured
in early November....

Comfortable shoes are a must, for holy sites (ie Church of the Holy Sep, Mosques, etc) your shoulders and legs (at least to the knees)need to be covered.
I would bring a light rain repelant jacket/coat which enables you to layer.
Israel is rather casual. Weather is going to vary dependent on where you are in the country...

Add to the above the fact that it might still be quite warm in Israel in November, especially since Israel is so diverse, on the same day Tel Aviv, on the beach may be 70, Jerusalem in the mountains, may be 60, but down south in the Negev Desert, or East, deep (the lowest point on earth!) in the Dead Sea it will be 85!
It won't get below freezing though, although, again, a Jerusalem evening can easily be in the 40's at that time.
Hope this helps.
