Israel - packing for march

Ill be in israel next March, 13th to 31 st, beginning in Tel Aviv, ending in Eilat. What kind of clothes do I need? For the day, long or short sleeve blouse? And for the night? A jacket is enough?
I looked in some sites and the weather forecast is completely different in each one.

Weather is variable at that time of year. Eilat might be over 30C (86F) during the day while in Jerusalem it could be below 10C (50F) at night. And there is still a good chance of rain at that time (not in Eilat). In general the weather is great at that time of the year, but be prepared for everything.

I was in Israel a year ago in March - a friend came to Tel Aviv to meet me in a leather jacket! I had a t-shirt type top with a light sweater which I removed during the day. Mornings and evenings were cool. Dress in layers.

Hello Simone,
Here is what we, the Israelis, wear in March: Short or light long sleeves Tees. Bring a fleece zippered jacket (very popular here), and a wind jacket. And... always have an umbrella with you: It can still rain in March (even heavily). You will most probably need the fleece and/or the wind jacket in the evenings of Jerusalem, Galil mountains and, you'll be surprised, even in Eilat or other desert areas in the evenings. But you definitely don't need anything heavier than that. You'll be surprised how casual the Israelis dress even when they go out in the evening. Jeans are fine for all hours of the day. Only in some very fancy places you'll need maybe a pair of black pants with a nice T shirt.
I always find that it is better not to pack a lot of staff. The worse that can happen is that if I need some thing I go and buy it! You'll find that the simple cloths like T shirts, sweats, fleece jackets etc. are cheaper here than in the U.S.!

...And if you feel cold, you buy a jacket or a sweather in one of those large clothing chains... Prices in Israel are usually quite accomodating, even for us, Americans...
