Israel for a Bat Mitzvah

Our family (10 of us) decided to go to Israel for my granddaughter's Bat Mitzvah. We selected Margaret Morse tours because they were recommended by a friend and other advertised tours sounded much the same. We were fortunate. The Morse tour was much better than expected. It really was a teen tour of Israel with excellent guides, good arrangements, experienced planning. But what set it apart was that it included "camp" counselors. They made sure the kids had good interactions, had fun and games in the "free' times, pizza delivered for Shabbat lunch. The counselors added so much to the trip for everyone. In addition, the adults had an excellent tour and could see their children having the time of their lives.
Most important, the Bat/Bat Mitzvah ceremony was NOT a token ceremony but a lovely full religious service at Masada. The rabbi was lovely and special to each child.
In short, I really recommend this to everybody who would like a trip to Israel either for themselves (they do excellent adult tours, of course) or for a family experience.
