No, she can come back and tell us that she was incredibly lucky to: a) be alive b) not kidnapped.

But she will come back and tell us how it was breeze, not threatening and that all the governments of the world have got the travel advice wrong. Oh..and the people are lovely!

There should be a rule. You have to listen to us. As it is we feel like unused condoms. We could have protected her but she ignored us. And now look at her.

I wish the OP well and hope that it was a successful trip. The two weeks should be about up, so I look forward to reading a trip report. Yemen has always intrigued me, but I've resigned myself to it not happening because of the security situation.
