Is it safe in Sharm El Sheikh

Hello everyone:

I and my friend are planning to visit Sharm El Sheikh for 2 days. We are wandering if it is safe to visit Sharm El Sheikh during this chaotic time in Sinai?

Ps. How long does it take us to visit Mt. Sinai on a single trip?

Sharm El Sheikh is totally safe and there is currently no chaos in Sinai. Look at a map, and you might realize that the chaos you might be referring to is in a whole other country.
It takes a few hours to visit Mount Sinai. Lots of people go there late in the evening to watch sunrise.

Hi Michael
Yes, Sharm ius safe and is a very pleasant place for a short holiday.
St Cath's can be visited as a one day/Full Day trip by road from Sharm or, better still, a two day visit. Two days allows you to see the monastery, stay overnight at a nearby hotel, climb Mount Sinai during early morning, and then return to either Sharm or Cairo by road.
Sinai is peacefull. All the present problems are in Israel and Egypt is very quiet and safe.

And write to me if you need more information. I can arrange your safe visit to Sharm and St Cath's if you wish
Best wishes
