Apparently this guy tried 'Walking with Lions' with some adults...

Suicide, homicide or stupidity...I suspect one of the first two!

Premeditated, not an accident. Poor guy.

In response to your title, "Is anywhere safe?"

Over the holidays I was sharing pictures from a variety of remote and potentially dangerous locations. The only pictures that resulted in an injury were the monarchs I photographed about 500 yards from my home. I backed into a bee on a flower and it stung me in the butt!

Don't they say most accidents happen at home?

... or as they say "there's one born every minute." Fools!
