Intra Africa Air Travel

Does anyone know if there is a website that is useful for booking flights within Africa? I want to book flights within Africa (Capetown to Victoria Falls) before I go in December.

Let me know.

Kevin,
you should be able to book this route through SAA.

Expedia.com works well. For consolidator fares check with www.2Afrika.com.

Kevin -

CPT to VFA is via JNB - which can be booked thru SAA (and BA also flies this route) or you can contact:

www.premiertours.com

The price runs about $350-$380 r/t, but fluctuates depending on season and exchange rates.

Reminder - you need to obtain VISA (upon arrival) in VFA $30, and there is a departure fee of $20.

To clarify - the fare from JNB to VFA r/t is about $350-$380. Then there is the fare from CPT to JNB about $140-$150 o/w.

However, often one leg between CPT/JNB or JNB/CPT is included in your fare depending on the original routing. Though if I recall, you're using frequent flyer miles - so is the leg between CPT/JNB (or JNB/CPT) included?

If so, then book the flight to VFA from when you're in JNB (remember, no backtracking).

Try kulula.com, a discount S.A. carrier. ~$80 each way CPT-JNB, for example.
