Info on Wilderness Dawning

I'm looking into options for an overland camping safari and have come across an operator called Wilderness Dawning. Their "Best of Botswana" package is what I'm considering.

However, I'm having trouble finding any kind of review of their services, I wonder if anyone has experience with them or can point me to reviews online?

Thanks!

I've definitely heard of them. But can't vouch for their standards. You could try the Hotel & Tourism Association of Botswana. If they're members of that then that's a good start.

Don't know this company but with all the interesting names of new (and old) safari companies, you could string them together strategically and make a lovely Africa haiku.

Hi Have heard of them and know them.

You will have no probs with this company, they know what they are doing in the bush and their guides are top rated.

They (indaviduals) have been in the safari industry for years and years although as a company only +- 3-4 years (I think - could be wrong though).

Some of the top webs sites on Africa travel sell them i.e. go2africa.com, uyaphi.com etc etc

Sounding like a salesman for them now, anyways they are as good as any of the other well branded companies out there in Botswana.

Cheers

Hi,

I did a mobile camping safari in Botswana in 2004 and Wilderness Dawning were the ground operators. They are a good outfit with knowledgeable guides, quality camping equipment and good food. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Cheers,

Pol.
