I'm back,its over already

I can't believe 3 months can go so fast.Reality came quick as we were greeted by a snowstorm as we got off the plane.

Every facet of the trip was amazing and i will add more later.Got back late last night and need to put some food in the house.

More reality when i brought our 36 rolls of film to get developed today. So i'm wondering if anyone has used ofoto or imagestation to get prints of their digital pics.I have about 1200 digital shots and ofoto is about 15 cents a pic while the best i could get here was 29 a picture.

Thanks for any help.

unless all 36 rolls and 1200 digital pics are "prize winners", do you really need all 1200 put into prints? download them, pick your top 100-200 and print those. or put them on cd and watch them on your t.v. hurry up with the trip report...I leave for Zambia in 5 days!

oops, I forgot you were gone 3 months and had your wedding there, so maybe you do have that many "keepers". bite the bullet and print them all (and share the best with us!)

You can upload your digitals and have the 35mm put onto disk and then upload. You can then edit those you wish to edit; select your favorites and have them printed.

Both ofoto and Kodak are good sites. Kodak has, in the past 6-months or so, reduced the price of their prints down to about 15-cents, competing with ofoto. I had photos printed by both companies and found the quality of the paper from Kodak was better, not as flimsy as the ofoto prints.

Can't wait to read the trip report.

The pics are definetly not all keepers but i have quite a wide variety. Our digital is a average camera without a big zoom so each camera served different purposes. With what i spent travelling i should not complain about a few more bucks spent on film.

I also have about 10 hours of video so i should be busy for a long time.I'll try to start a trip report soon but i think you'll finish your's before i do.

Since you asked about Imagestation: I've been very happy w/the quality of their prints - I think they are about 12cents right now but I routinely get free prints from them for some reason.
