Hyena Den Webcam in the Mara
For those hyena lovers out there... the BBC's Big Cat Diary has rigged a webcam to a Hyne Den in the Mara.
Check it out on www.bbc.co.uk/bigcat

When trying to access those webcams, I get the response "Not available in your area". I'm in Seattle.
Do I need to install some software or is this true for others on the Westcoast of the USA? I hope this doesn't mean that I won't be able to see the live show!
I can see the video-clips just fine.

I saw somewhere that we can't get the videos if you aren't in the UK. I'm so disappointed. Has anyone been able to see the webcams from the US. If so, is there a trick? My understanding is that lions are on one of the webcams right now.

I think there is a way round it by routing the web address through a UK proxy server. I'm no techno-geek but hopefully that means something to someone. Can anyone help?
Yeah the Marsh Pride of lions are being filmed live at the monment... they are on the hunt!!

The forum on the BBC website has blocked any replies to a thread which was aimed at letting people outside the UK view the webcams, but I know that it can be done.
Ask someone you know who is tech savvy to route the webpage through a UK proxy - apparently it can be done.
Anyone on this forum who can help?
