How many hours from Casablanca to Marrakech driving

Can anyone tell me exactly how many hours it takes driving a van from Casablanca to Marrakech? I have been told anytime between 2 1/2 to 4 hours. Maybe someone can narrow the time for me. Wassala

The distance is 250 km (160 miles) but the road is not that easy: a lot of traffic, crossing through many towns and villages (speed limit: 40 km/h) and also several police/army checkpoints, although they won't stop you (if you have a rental car - special license plates. We did it in three hours and a half. Be cautious on the road, they sometimes drive like crazies!
