How does one obtain a visa to Saudi Arabia ?

You could do what we did, work there.

Last I heard, Saudi Arabia does not issue tourist visas. You must be sponsored.

... and for sure, better not have an Israeli Visa stamp or traveling with an Israeli passport.

Or be Jewish, but that goes without saying.

Jewish is okay. If asked for religion just indicate "pre-Christian" :)

Just don't write down "none" - that really creates problems.

One of the physicians I work for was going there to audit a hospital and he was still declined a visa. Some of his Saudi colleagues told him to go anyway and try when he got there. They did issue him one but it was touch and go.

Why are you interested in going? As mentioned above your reason for going could determine your ability to get a visa.
