How do you research the climate for different times of the year in various countries throughout the world?

I am trying to research the climates for various countries throughout the world and I have no idea where to start my search. I just want to find out average temperature, weather conditions during June and July, what kind of clothing I need to pack for different regions during the summer months. It will involve mostly international travel.

old way - go to the library and check out a lonely planet or rough guide for the country in question. New way - use google. "weather ... xxxx" country in question.

I just tried it: weather bangla desh. Lots of hits. Granted most will be current forecasts, but somewhere in there will be an annual overview.

If you mean can you type into a box desired temperature, plus various other criteria on your wish list and have it come up with countries that fit - well don't know a site like that. There probably is one. If not someone will invent one. Maybe I should - do you think there is any mileage in it?

Happy hunting!

Try http://www.wunderground.com

Half way down the page is a section that you can use to find historical weather info for an area.

I use it alot! Happy Travels...

I'm a big fan of the UN world weather site:

http://www.worldweather.org/

The extra advantages on this site include: no advertising and no pop-ups.
