I wouldn't call either one of those two hotels a boutique hotel. They are among the best, top of the line hotels in Jerusalem.
King David is older and has a lot more history while the David Citadel is much newer and the rooms are a bit bigger.
Both are in excellent locations and either one is a terrific choice and a wonderful hotel.
