hot air ballooning

I'm trying to decide if it's worthwhile to take a hot air balloon ride over the Masa Mara this July. The cost is $450 per person and I've heard the balloons carry a lot of people. Is it a good idea?

It's one of the most magical experiences you can have. Go for it!I did it in the Mara in 1998. When I went to Tanzania in 2004, I had to do it in the Serengeti, as well.

The part about balloons carrying a lot of people is not a negative. There is a limit and we each had plenty of viewing room.

I am on the other side of the spectrum and did not really like the balloon.

Here is a link to balloon discussions in the past.

well worth it! Just gives you the most amazing perspective of the areas where you do your game drives. I would recomend the one from little governors if you are staying anywhere near there. Any of them would be fun though.
