Home, tired but happy!

Hi to you all

Just got back and totally knackered!

I will post a trip report soon but here's an overview:

Simbambilli - wow!
We saw everything (except wild dogs but you can'thave it all!). Our ranger was Jacque and tracker was Lazarus. They are both fantastic and very patient. Steve took some fab photos - he even got the cub which we will post soon. The accommodation and food is top class - Rocco ask for room 1 - it is the best view of the waterhole which is well used by the locals!

Mkuze Falls - Very nice and some good lion and rhino sightings but can't match Simbambili (although this is reflected in the price).

Will write in detail later but we had a wonderful time. Going to sleep now!Rochat

Welcome home and I will gladly wait for you whenever you're ready. Having just returned from East Africa I understand. Can't figure what to work on first - report or photos. So take your time, get back to yourself - we'll be here.

rochat,

Thanks for the feedback on Room #1. Someone else recently told me the same thing (I believe it was another Fodorite, Africa_Lover) and I have since requested and been granted my wish for Room #1. :)

Welcome home and I am glad to see that you enjoyed your experience at Simbambili. Seeing your report and the previous report of Africa_Lover certainly validates my choice of saving Simbambili for last on my upcoming safari.

Can't wait to see photos of the leopards!!! :)
