Help with accommodations and game viewing in the Serengeti

We are planning a safari to Tanzania in February 2006. In our itinerary we will spend 4 nights in the Serengeti. As of now, we have scheduled 2 nights at a mobile camp in the Ndutu or Southern area and 2 in the central area at the Serena. Since this is our first trip to Tanzania, we thought that we should see more than 1 area. We could change it a little and do 2 nights at the camp, 1 at Kusini, and then 1 in the central area. Is this too much time in the South?
Which plan would give us better positioning to optimize time for game drives? Someone suggested that besides the migration, we visit the Gol and Moru Kopjes. What do
you think? Would one of these plans be better than the other to do that? Any other suggestions as to planning our time there would be appreciated. Thanks

Can I make a suggestion - that you keep all posts regarding your trip under one thread. Presently, you have half-dozen threads regarding this trip. Keeping all together will make it easier for you and for those answering to find everything questioned and answered in one place. Better then jumping from thread to thread.

As to how you should spend your time in the Serengeti - check with your tour operator where the mobile camp is situated as it related to Kusini camp. If close by, stay at the mobile; or if you want different kind of camp environment move to Kusini for a night. And the idea of 1-nts in the Serena works also. This is especially so if you wish to fly back from there to Arusha - airstrip is located here.

As to the Kopjes - again ask your tour operator about these and make arrangements to visit these.
