Help with 2024 Botswana trip - and beyond vs. wilderness
 

Hi,

We are 4 adults planning a trip to Botswana in late August/ early Sept 2024. We have reached out to a couple of agencies and have received a couple of itineraries but are unable to decide which one would be the best for us. And we would love some advice.

Wildlife - both quantity and diversity are the most important to us. So the location of the lodges/ camps (proximity to wildlife) as well as the quality of the safaris and guides is also important.Takes a huge precedence over luxury.

Here are the 3 itineraries we have. Price is in the same range.

1. Wilderness properties
a. Savuti Camp, Linyati Reserve
b. Pelo Camp, Jao Concession, Okovango Delta
c. Chitabe Lodge, Chitabe Concession, South of Moremi

2. ANdbeyond properties
a. Chobe Under Canvas, Chobe National Park
b. Xaranna Camp, Moremi Game Drive
c. Sandibe Lodge, south of Moremi
